Wow, it’s already mid December. Seems as if the months and all year has gone by fast. As the saying goes, time flies when you’re having fun!

We are so grateful for our IMDs. Around the holidays, you guys send us cards, emails and gifts to show your gratitude. We appreciate all of your kindness. From my heart and the staff here thank you for that and encouraging us. We strive to bring you the best and continue to help you change lives through our terrific optional earnings program. It is our pleasure to be here and serve all of you.

Events are still going on all around the country.  Check out the calendar of events and events locator as there are still lots of choices in a lot of different locations.

We just added another events tab, our New Year Kick Off tab. It will literally be updated several times a week, with more locations added daily, now through January 7. So mark your calendars for this awesome event going on all across the US on January 7, 2012. Look for a NYKO location near you. Bring yourself, your team and your guests.

When you attend an event, it’s a great opportunity for you and your team to reconnect. Life happens and you get busy but, it’s there’s still time to get to an event and bring guests as well.

New announcements and great giveaways at the NYKO like new marketing tools, apparel and the new Amazon Kindle Fire…one at each location.

Holiday Hours:

Next Friday (12/23) & Monday (12/26) our corporate office will be closed. We want to give the staff holiday time with family. All fax lines remain open and all deadlines remain the same. So, send in those apps.

About 10 years ago…Dick started participating in a charity motorcycle run. One of the largest bike runs in the us with about 80,000 bikes. This allows us to be involved with one of our charities of choice, The Boys and Girls Club of Broward County, to help underprivileged kids celebrate the holidays.  We were a drop off location for toy donations.  Just prior to our Platinum cruise, many of our Platinums donated toys along with our staff. We are thankful for your generosity. The weekend was spent collecting toys and then giving them out to needy kids.

Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi was the Grand Marshall of the event this year.  Like us, he also enjoyed bringing smiles to so many kids’ faces. We can make a difference one person at a time through TN. We do help change lives daily with our savings and optional earnings program and also through charity. We are blessed to be able to do this.

Great weekend with charity.
As Angela said, “It was a very humbling experience. We support our charities through emotions, participation and also financially and are blessed to do so.”

You can benefit as our member. Here’s a good quote from USA Today:

“The average shopper plans to spend $751 this year. That’s a 22% increase from last year. There’s an increase in every income bracket. The biggest jump is strong at the high end… That where holiday spending plans are up 50% for those making at least  $75,000. For those making $30,000 or less, the spending plans are  up 28% to $423.”

We offer a way for all people to save money. My Savings Guide follows all areas you can save in. Also through the Big N Marketplace, you earn commissions. These name brand retailers pay you to shop.

Launching 2 new stores. Sports Authority 3% and Dick’s Sporting Goods starting us off at 4% commission. Over time we can negotiate higher commissions, depending on our members spending patterns. This year alone, we’ve added 70 – 80 new stores.

“Learn To Dance In The Rain”… a book I’ve referenced before in our Success Club talks about the power of gratitude.

The motorcycle run is a good example. Smile through it and be grateful and show gratitude. Focus on the good things.

We even saw a double rainbow throughout all the rain. That was a great leadership challenge for me.

God gives us only what we can handle.

No matter the circumstances…Rain clouds, Dick’s cancer, grandparents tough decisions…try to jot down a couple things you are grateful for.  Keep a gratitude journal in your head. Appreciate your life and people around you regardless of your situation.

“Learn To Dance In The Rain”

Quote…
”Someone once said that circumstances don’t determine character, they reveal it. Who we are as human beings is revealed most clearly during struggle, hardship, pain and suffering . It’s easy to be a good person when things are going great, but when times get tough, that’s when you’ll find out the stuff your made of.”

Lots of sunny days ahead in 2012. Lots of sunshine and hope cause we have a leading marketing plan. And great savings.
