Host – Team National President & CEO Angela Loehr Chrysler

“Welcome all. The home office is closed today due to Tropical Storm Isaac. Thankfully, we were well-prepared prior to the storm. Since it is the unknown, we were fully prepared with complete backup at the home office. An evacuation plan in place as well as equipment on hand and running that keeps everything safe and secured.  The good news for South Florida, not too many folks experienced power outages. While it spared us, our hearts and prayers go out to those that are in its path. Angela

We have so many great things going on here…

There’s still so much momentum since Orlando. Lots of folks are aiming for that Winterfest promo.
See bign.com for full details.

Team National Recruitment App (TNRA)

Take someone from a cold market and take them to a warm market, using the FORM method.

Listen to others.  That’s why God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth.

TNRA is a mobile app. In today’s world, your mobile device is always with you.  So now you can actually share TN with folks anywhere you are. The only requirement is that you have to own a TN personal website. You will receive an email with a link to access it. The TNRAmobile.com  link is up and running right now. Give us feedback, as we are in the initial phase here and we will continue to make it even better with more phases to come.

2008 Eagle Winners & Double Platinums Randy & Debbie Weekley were in town last week for their Lessons & Lifestyle of an Eagle Red Carpet Premiere.
Randy said, "how cool it was, that at Team National, we are continuing to do new things and want to improve and listen to our sales field.”

The Weekley’s Lessons & Lifestyle of an Eagle Red Carpet Premiere was terrific. It is now available for viewing on TNTV. Also, we posted the red carpet premiere on Facebook. You can check out their awesome photos on Flickr.

“We believe on having a servant heart and in servant leadership. We continue to look for the best ways to serve you.  Follow us on Facebook. We have a Team National page as well as my own personal page, Angela Loehr Chrysler. Be sure to “like us” as this increases our overall relevancy on search engines, like Google.  We love connecting with you. Through Facebook, we are able to quickly and easily share with you things as they happen, such as the Tropical Storm updates and the corporate office being closed today. This is a great way to communicate and reach a lot of people as soon as possible, so you can communicate information to your teams as well.” – Angela

When you are on social media it is good to limit your time on there and not let it consume you.  People ask me how long I spend on Facebook. I know my focus and my mission, which is to connect with you, so I plan accordingly. Use your time wisely. Just recognize what your purpose is.

I was just reading ‘Lead with Love’ by Ken Blanchard and Colleen Barrett.  Colleen worked for Southwest Airlines. Herb Keller, the founder of Southwest Airlines hired Colleen. Over the years, she rose up through the ranks and ended up running southwest airlines. The book talks about how they became successful and they put their people first. In this book, there’s a section that’s basically a Q & A between Keller & Barrett. They are discussing Norman Vincent Peale’s book, ‘The Power of Positive Thinking.’

Keller says, “ Norman Vincent Peale once told me that the 2 best traits you can have to lead a fulfilling life are patience and persistence. We need to be patient cause God’s timetable is different than ours. Things don’t always happen or occur on our schedule, but when they do happen it’s usually at the right time. When you become impatient, persistence should take over. Which means keep on moving. Then, if you are persistently doing something and it leads to frustration, go back to patience.”

That paragraph really says so much.

One of my personal missions is allowing my positive light to shine. Here’s a friendly reminder though, light attracts bugs. Sometimes you get the negative. Because some people are on a different timetable than you are.  Consider the source if that negativity or reasoning. Continue to let your light shine. Cruise winners overriding theme – persistence.

John Maxwell’s book “Relationships  101” also talks about patience and persistence.

He references the following:

Paradoxical Commandments of Leadership by Kent M. Keith

Some people are illogical, unreasonable and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, some people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but they follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People really need help, but they may attack you if you help them.
Help them anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

If better is possible, then good is not enough!
